Joe & Martha Mathews
The Mathews’ lives have been wrapped up in helping people, particularly youths, reach their potential. Joe worked in the juvenile justice system for 25 years and has long helped kids through sports programs. For her part, Martha was always a teacher. Joe and Martha have both retired and joined Kynect because they saw it as an opportunity to build a business on their own terms.
“I could work as much or as little as I wanted and earn extra income for our family,” Joe says. “Being retired, with our children grown, I wasn’t initially looking for additional revenue. However, I’m always open to new ideas for personal growth and Kynect provided that.”
Joe has always had a heart for developing others and describes himself as a people person and a goal setter.
“I’ve long assisted young people in setting and attaining personal goals,” he says. “I now use those same skills to help Kynect Associates realize their dreams. Doing that through this business fuels our dreams as well. While I originally thought of Kynect as a means for extra income, I now see it as the avenue to achieve my ultimate goal.”
Martha chimes in saying, “We have always helped children. Now ours are grown and our goal is to help them relocate back in our hometown. It will be such a blessing to all be together again!”
